MODEL OF BRAIN PERFORMANCE
Neurozone is built on a Neurobiological Model of what makes the Brain Perform – we call it the Model of Brain Performance and Thriving. This model was developed by our CEO, Dr Etienne van der Walt, a renowned Neurologist and the model has been verified by some of the world’s top Neuroscientists and Psychologists.
In the Model of Brain Performance and Thriving there are 11 drivers (of Brain Performance and Thriving). When a person works on these drivers he/she work towards enhancing 4 human capacities required for thriving: Learning Capacity, Self-Leadership, Resilience and Innovation. Once these capacities are enhanced fully a person will be in an optimized state of Thriving and that person can Perform at his/her best.
The Model advocates that people can only perform at their best when their environment and those around them are also optimized. That is why the product is built for organizations too and allows organizations to also focus their resources according to their employees’ driver profiles.
SO WHAT DOES NEUROZONE DO WITH THIS MODEL?
Neurozone diagnoses a person against the 11 drivers of brain performance and then presents the person with a personalized action plan. The action plan focuses on 4 drivers for 3 months and then the system allows the person to re-assess him-/herself. Enhancing the human capacities required for thriving and performance are natural outcomes of following the personalized action plan.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES
• Brain performance seminars, with introductory seminars as well as driver specific seminars – these educate a person on how these drivers really work
• Workplace Tools, which offers a person tools and advice based on the Model of Brain Performance AND sources from reputable sources for everyday use in the workplace – these tools are driver specific to help a person work on his drivers AND general tools for use in the workplace
• Weekly e-Letters that remind a person of the driver that they are working on and further interesting information
• A 3D model of the Model of Brain Performance and Thriving – to further enhance a person’s knowledge of how the brain works
